Playa Flamenca Is located within
a ten minute drive of Torrevieja, 45 minutes form Alicante airport and 25
minutes from Murcia airport. Just over an hour from Benidorm
Playa Flamenca is situated in the South Costa Blanca. With a selection of
golden sandy beaches to visit from Punta Prima, Playa Flamenca, Torreveija,
Cabo Roig Campoamor and Pîlar de la Horadada to name a few. The beaches have
Life Guard patrols during the summer season for your safety. The beaches
offer something for everyone, Some beaches offer water sports such as jet
skis and banana boats. Others host beach bars where you can purchase that
well earned drink. Most of the beaches have the use of sunloungers (although
there is a small charges for these)
No matter which apartment you choose in the Playa Flamenca area you are
never far away from bars and eateries offering a large selection of foods
from around the world. The bars often hold entertainment. If you have
children then there are bars with soft play areas for them to use while you
bask in the sun with a cool drink. For the younger children there is the oppertunity to rent baby and children equipment including toys and paaling
pools to keep them entertained.
Within ten minutes drive you
have the choice of three water parks with the larger one in Torrevieja
itself although a little more expensive than the others it offers more
choice for the elder child or adult. The others are directed more at the
younger family with a number of smaller but excitable slides. For the
Golfers out there, the apartments in Playa Flamenca are a five minute drive
to PGA Courses such as Villamartin,Las Ramblas and Campoamor, within half
hour you can reach Courses such as the Polaris world resort of La Torre and
going North you will Find La Finca Golf. A little further on the motorway
and you can be at Alicante golf clubs or South you can use the La Manga Golf
resort.
For shopping You have Playa Flamenca street market every Saturday with
fresh fruits ceramics and leather goods along with clothing and housewares.
then again ten minutes and you are in Torrevieja which is a typical spanish
town with shops built within apartments on busy narrow streets, From the
from there does not seem to be much but go through the town and you will be
amazed at the ammount of shops and selection of cafe bars. If you woudl
prefer to go to a more directed area to shop then again there is the small
shopping centre just outside of Torrevieja with shops such as Mango pull and
bare and Zara. For the larger selection of shops you can find a large
shopping centre just out side Murcia this offers everything.
Shoe factories, you can find
the shoe factories in Elche which is around 20 minutes drive north, here you
can grab a bargain quality made shoes direct from the factory.
Crevillente Market
(Gran Rastro) this is a new market and the first of its kind in the whole of
spain, With a mixture of foods, new and used and antique bargains, With the
option of a nursery/crech for the children while you shop or nip upstairs to
the eateries and taste the food from numerous eateries and bars.
More traditional spain can be
easily found with a short drive, with Playa Flamenca being situated between
the moitorway AP7 and the coastal rd N332 you have direct routes to most
